Naval's Google be gone ...

Naval hinted at new IE7 feature 'Block ads' and hinted at what it can do for Google's ad revenue.. Why just IE7? most of the other browsers like Firefox, opera etc.

Microsoft identifies this pain and gave this feature. Why would I have cluttered UI with unrelated ads? If one like ads, one can go ahead and uncheck the option right?

Way to go Microsoft! Way to go IE7 :)

Btw, I loved Naval's ['StartupBoy'] idea of advertisement for openings:)

Much awaited Riya beta .. soon :)

Manjal Shah, CEO of Riya has announced that Riya beta will be released to public soon!!!

Can't wait to use it.. UI looks amazing.. May be the next big thing after flickr :)

Business 2.0: Breaking down VOIP's walls - Jan. 6, 2006

Breaking down VOIP's walls

The article highlights some specific issues regarding VOIP providers hooking customers using custom made goodies like Handsets, headsets, WiFi phones etc.

Do we really need those add on goodies? Can't a $5 headset with microphone do the job? WiFi phone may very handy. But a piece of software (like skype for pda) sitting on existing PDA won't be enough ?

Hope interoperability between services comes quickly.
